Community CPR Classes

Cortlandt-Peekskill Regional Paramedics is proud to offer American Heart Association (AHA) CPR classes for members of our community. Whether you're a parent, teacher, coach, caregiver, student, or simply want to be prepared for an emergency, our courses provide the knowledge and hands-on skills needed to respond confidently when every second counts.
Our experienced paramedics and certified AHA instructors deliver engaging, practical training in a supportive learning environment. Participants will learn how to recognize cardiac arrest, perform high-quality CPR, use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), and respond to choking emergencies. Depending on the course selected, certification cards may be issued upon successful completion.
Cardiac emergencies can happen anywhere, and immediate bystander CPR can significantly improve a person's chance of survival before EMS arrives. Our mission is to empower our community with the lifesaving skills that make a difference when it matters most.

Heartsaver CPR
Designed for community members, teachers, coaches, childcare providers, and anyone who wants to learn lifesaving skills, this American Heart Association course teaches CPR, AED use, and relief of choking for adults, children, and infants. No healthcare experience is required, and participants receive an AHA Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card upon successful completion.
BLS Provider
Intended for healthcare professionals and first responders who require CPR certification for their role. Participants will learn high-quality team-based CPR, AED use, ventilation techniques, and relief of choking in adults, children, and infants while earning their AHA BLS Provider certification.
