The Cortlandt-Peekskill Regional Paramedics (RPS) is a professional, standalone advanced life support (ALS) program that was initially established in 1997 through a joint venture between the Town of Cortlandt and the City of Peekskill to provide high-level emergency medical care to residents. Since 2025, CPRPS is now operated by a non-profit organization called Cortlandt-Peekskill RPS, Inc., the service is dispatched immediately upon a 911 call and works in close collaboration with local volunteer ambulance corps, who provide transport and assistance.
